NORMAN, Okla. — The No. 11 Sun Devil wrestling team earned its first road win in nine years over No. 20 Oklahoma, 20-12, at McCasland Field House Friday night. Senior Kordell Norfleet (197) ultimately sealed the dual for ASU (2-0) in the ninth bout after an impressive two tie-breaker period decision victory over No. 13 Jake Woodley.

“I thought overall the team wrestled well, they were prepared and I’m proud of these guys,” assistant coach Lee Pritts said. “This was a great test by a talented and well coached Oklahoma team. Looking ahead it’s going to get tougher so we have to continue to climb, continue to elevate, continue to fight.”
